So we are more or less the same age. I would say we had a pretty good childhood and early teens, it was by the time we reached university that shit got worse. In a way, yes, we didn’t get to enjoy the cheap housing and easy job market when we reached adulthood but the generation after didn’t even get to enjoy the childhood part.

The fiber cap stains red as it can be seen in the picture you posted, the St George doesn’t.
What I meant was that I don’t know any edible mushroom that looks exactly the same as a toxic one and doesn’t have a major characteristic that differentiates it immediately like the smell in the xanthodermus or the staining in the amanita ponderosa.
Basil I forgot about and dried:

To be honest people eat basil and rosemary leaves not the wood part. So the same could be said about bay leaves, no one bites the tree itself

Linux@programming.dev•Ubuntu's trust problem in 4 concrete issues - verified facts, no FUDEnglish
1·3 months agoThat’s understandable, you expected Ubuntu to be simple and it was, you had a need any it was fulfilled.
The thing is, any other debian would be as simple as Ubuntu. The “simplicity” comes from having all the programs already installed not from being more or less technical.

4·3 months agoI don’t understand why go though all the trouble of leaving windows, which let’s be honest is not as friction free as Lemmy likes to claim, and then land on Ubuntu.
I have to thank them for the free DVDs tho, they opened the world of Linux for me as a kid.

The other day walking in the woods I saw what I assume is native grass, it looked like lawn grass so I’m tempted to experiment.
