I would guess he has to make her feel at home in the new world, that’s all he can offer. She has to come with acceptance that too much time would have passed, and everyone she knows is dead. And he has to offer her a place to belong.

I don’t think he actually loves her the way he does with the other 3. At best he could offer her a place in his household, but it would not be as a partner.
Sylphie would be able to detect that there isn’t true love between them and that would be what could end their marriage.
Hence the /s
I don’t think the /s is warranted. I was hoping the show wouldn’t go full harem, but it keeps doing so. It’s the worst part of the show IMO.
From what I’ve heard, it’s just Roxy, Sylphie, and Eris that he marries.
Though there’s more messed up pairings with the other characters that I’ve heard of
