This really looks straight out of anime. Nemophila is now at peak bloom in Hitachi Seaside Park, turning the landscape into endless blue waves. Cosplayers are already flocking there…

    Are these planted? I can’t imagine that a natural place would have such a monoculture. It is very pretty though.

      Japan barely has any untouched nature. Almost everything in the country is planted. Even the trees deep in the mountains, they’re almost all plantations, a monoculture of fast growing pine.

      Which is why hay season is really bad there. All the monoculture trees bukkake at the same time.
