23 days agoThey went from “AI will be your slave robot doing menial work” to “AI will take ALL the jobs, so you’ll have to do whatever it can’t (yet)” within like 3 years. That’s shorter than a typical 4-year college degree. That means kids who went to get degrees are now neck-deep in debt with bleek outlook on their careers. And these speakers want applause? Booing is actually the best outcome.
AI agents don’t care about safety or reliability because they can’t care. About anything. Because they don’t have emotions. They are auto-complete on steroids. The sooner people stop amorphousizing these computer systems, the better off humanity will be.
