Definitely anime of the season (if not the year but that’s a bit early to say) for me. Didn’t expect it to be this good and the second half was definitely rushed through but a show that explores these themes in such a mature way is rare and the execution was excellent. The music was great and the voice acting work really nailed down the emotional weight of the subject matter. It’s a real shame it’s not a complete adaptation, I heard that a bunch of chapters were glossed over towards the end.

Ironically for me, this season of Frieren felt so much like filler and lacking in character development that it’s on track to likely be the worst anime of the year for me. It’s a far cry from what made the first season really, really good imo.

Yea, it was announced years ago. Glad that we’re finally getting a release date.

Ah yea, I think Netflix would be a lot more different when making this decision compared to Crunchyroll.

If they’re just watching a single show would they really pay for a service? Can’t speak for where you live but I’m fairly certain that where I live no one would do that.

Not listening but he’s been tracking her location all this while and based on what he said about how long he’s been doing this, I took it that this certainly wasn’t the first time he followed her like this.
