There are several thousand years of case history that do not mention anything about these reports you mentioned with a government website. Reports that do not match my own experience. This mushroom has the longest recorded use of any drug plant or fungi in the northern hemisphere, and here you are spreading bullshit to help make it illegal. Now maybe you do not know that’s what you’re doing but that’s what you’re doing. The government is not a fucking reliable source.

Throwing up not long after ingesting the tea is normal, yet you have no idea what you are talking about here.

You are cooperating in a puritanical campaign to make this mushroom illegal, maybe you don’t realize that’s what you are doing, but that is going out right now. Stop it.

You also have no idea what the fuck you’re talking about.

I want a source for that disparaging comment which is incorrect. Also it’s not a psychedelic and the fact that you described it as such destroys your credibility. You have no idea what you were talking about and are repeating puritanical propaganda.

For shame. Maybe you should go talk about the reefers online.

    Bullshit!

Says who? I have done it both wet and dry many many times and never experienced that, and I’ve talked to people online about it a lot and nobody has mentioned that. So where are you getting this claim? I say that knowing that there are groups trying to make it illegal that have been spreading lies including that ibotenic acid causes brain bleeds based on a single discredited study repeated ad nauseam.

You are on some Reefer Madness bullshit aren’t you? Admit it!

  • Not all of them, Amanita muscaria Has Perhaps the longest recorded usage of any drug plants or fungi in the history of the northern world. Ask the reindeer they’ll tell you about it.

It is an anticholinergenic. But it has two actions, When Wet Ibotenic acid has an inebriating effect, when dry and cooked it converts to muscimol, which produces hallucinations and an altered state, but is not a hallucinogen but said anticholinergenic, a different class of drug.

A single discredited study accused ibotenic acid of causing brain lesions and the media has repeated it ad nauseam but it’s not accurate, I have done it both wet and dry.

  • There are hundreds if not thousands of amanita’s, they do host some of the most deadly species including the death cap and destroying Angels which is what you are referring to, and yes you will get sick well after the fact, feel a little bit better and then crash hard as your liver is liquefied. I think it takes about 2 days for an excruciating death things can be done to save you, including milk thistle extract and other plants which protect the liver, most important would be purging the mushroom if caught in time, and or eating charcoal to soak up the toxins so they’re not absorbed, but hospitals have some other stuff they can do.

Potatoes are also one of the few foods you can live almost entirely on. If you eat the skin. They have about everything you need, unlike all other staple foods. The problem is you need a lot of them, and they get weird if they freeze. But you could dry them.

Peruvians used to smash them on the rocks and freeze dry them in the cold Andean air to preserve them for the winters up there above 10k feet.

  • I do have owls, I hear them sometimes, but squirrels are not active in the night time when they are. So unless they raid the nests, I think the culprit is something else. I have heard there has been a pine marten sighting around here, but most of the trees are not pines idk if that matters.

Chipmunks are as prolific as ever, dozens, so whatever it is is not grabbing them.

Unfun facts, I’ve been feeding the birds for several years and obviously 95% of that went to the squirrels and there were dozens and they all disappeared last year. I found a few pieces of squirrel corpses around, something killed them all and ate them. Have no idea what it was.
