Not long ago I learned nut allergies aren’t really a thing anymore. https://www.theguardian.com/wellness/2025/nov/11/peanut-allergies-declining-children-explained
Bam. Fun fact.
I’m so confused as to if this is a “whoosh” or if I’m the one "whoosh"ing.
Sometimes the visual example doesn’t work well when describing math. So an alternate:
Pick a number 1 - 10. 8. Correct and accurate.
Pick a number 1 - 10. 3.1415926535. Uhh, precise, but not accurate.
Or:
Accurate is drilling the hole in the middle. Precise is picking the exact right size drill bit.

And tell your team in the Team on Teams about it.

No, it’s not. That just means a birthdate field next to name, address, etc, is coming.
Just because systemd said “Guess we will roll over and add this in” doesn’t mean Debian has to use an extra demographic field, of which they didn’t use all of them to begin with.

Inside scoop having talked to the company meta uses. Since they use face identification to check age, my belief is that it burdens them with biometric data that the federal government wants rights to. That puts them in a precarious situation if they don’t want to share said data, or can’t make enough off it for the risk, just like problem Discord had. Much safer to have ad-focused data.
